Canopy & Fabric

The canopies for these Commercial Umbrellas are manufactured from Ferrari 502 Premium PVC. This membrane is the perfect choice for business owners who are in need of a waterproof solution. The membrane is imported from Italy and is renowned for its hard wearing characteristics, UV resistance and the lacquer coating that is present to prevent staining. A 'cut length' charge may apply for a selection of the broad range of available colours.

Frame & Construction

The frames for these sturdy Commercial Umbrellas are made from structural grade aluminium which provides the strength of steel without the weight or the worry of rust. The arm and frame sections are custom-extrusions which have been designed, refined and tested over years of use.

Each Commercial Umbrella is fitted with an internal rack-and-pinion gearbox which makes raising and lowering the umbrellas a very safe and simple job. All fittings on the Commercial Umbrellas are Stainless Steel.

For Quality Assurance each Commercial Umbrella is assembled carefully by hand and a detailed checklist is carried out on each structure before being packaged securely for shipping.

• Valances: A valance is the edging around an umbrella. Select from either a Straight Edge or for a more traditional look you can choose a Scalloped Edge.
• Screenprinting: For Commercial customers or Sporting Clubs looking to get the added benefit of using their umbrella to display a brand, we can screenprint your logo onto the membrane. Please Contact Us if you are interested in this addition.
  
• Clear PVC Side Curtains: You can turn your Commercial Umbrella into an outdoor room with the addition of removable side curtains.
• Shade Side Curtains: These additions can be used to add protection from the early morning or late afternoon sun.
• Umbrella Gutters: You can use this optional extra to join umbrellas together to expand the coverage provided by your structure.

Installation Methods

Your Commercial Umbrella will be delivered to you virtually fully assembled and ready for installation. Once the base for the structure is installed the umbrella can be removed from the protective packaging and be ready for standing. Due to the size and weight of the umbrella it is recommended that a number of strong people be on hand to assist with this procedure.

These Commercial Umbrellas must be suitably anchored due to their weight and size. You can choose to bolt your Commercial Umbrella down to a suitable strong concrete slab, or you can install it using an inground installation. Whichever method you choose please be advised that these are substantial shade structures and with proper installation and care will give you years and years of shade and comfort. Lead Time

Each Commercial Umbrella is made to your exact specifications so you should anticipate a lead time from placement of your order or approximately 4 weeks, depending on the time of year. Please note that the wait time is shorter in Winter and longer in Summer.
